Our Ecosystem Approach

To build a supportive ecosystem for youth mental health, we work to strengthen the systems that shape it — including policies, resources, relationships, and power dynamics — at both national and global levels.

Our Ecosystem Catalyst Grants help scale youth-led ideas, remove barriers to mental health prevention and promotion support, and test how youth-led innovation can work within and improve existing systems.

In collaboration with our partners, United for Global Mental Health, we also focus on increasing investment in youth mental health, amplifying youth and lived experience voices, and uniting funders, governments, and communities who share the same goals to drive lasting change.

Ecosystem Catalyst Grants

Mental health innovators face barriers that hold back demand for their solutions and prevent them from scaling. From government policies to social norms to a lack of information – we know the success of these initiatives is influenced by their context.

Ecosystem Catalyst Grants aim to address priority barriers to scale identified in our country consultations to support the uptake, growth, and success of youth-led mental health innovation, and drive collaboration and action among local and national actors.
