The National Institute of Health and Care Research’s (NIHR) mission is to improve health and wealth through research. The Science for Africa Foundation (SFA Foundation) is a pan-African, non-profit organisation that supports, strengthens, and promotes science and innovation in Africa. The SFA Foundation serves the African research ecosystem by funding excellent research and innovation ideas; enabling interdisciplinary collaborations among researchers and building and reinforcing environments that are conducive for scientists to thrive and produce quality research that generates new, locally relevant knowledge. The SFA Foundation seeks to address the continent’s most pressing developmental needs by generating knowledge that solves problems and informs decision-making. 

United for Global Mental Health works to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and increase support for mental health around the world with trusted partners. The United for Global Mental Health team is made up of diverse, passionate and knowledgeable individuals. By combining their extensive in-house expertise in advocacy, financing and campaigning with the unique insights of their many partners, they’re already making progress on their mission.

Orygen is Australia’s Centre of Excellence for Youth Mental Health and regarded as the global pioneer in the field. Research shows 75% of all mental ill-health emerges by the age of 25, so Orygen was established to address the urgent needs of young people aged 12-25 by bringing together expertise in clinical care, research, training, policy development and advocacy for the sake of the mental health of young people today, and across the lifespan.
