Bullying Resistance and Awareness for Valuable Empowerment (BRAVE) is an anti-bullying program that consists of interactive, peer-led workshops delivered to students, covering essential themes related to bullying, including neuroscience and bullying, non-violent communication, conflict resolution, and cyberbullying.

The innovation targets students in pedagogical high schools and lower secondary schools. Trained peer facilitators will co-deliver the workshops with the Fundatia Inocenți Bistrița team to younger students from lower secondary schools (aged 10-15), acting as role models through peer-to-peer engagement. Additionally, teachers and school counsellors will be trained to facilitate the BRAVE intervention.

The program aims to help participants understand how the brain responds to bullying, promote resilience and social skills to foster a positive learning environment. The workshops will be complemented by a national digital HUB platform that provides 24/7 AI-assisted support and educational content, allowing students to access help anonymously and on their own terms. The HUB also serves as both a reinforcement tool and a scalable channel for ongoing prevention, awareness and early intervention.
