Charlene Sunkel est fondatrice et chef de la direction du Global Mental Health Peer Network<\/a>. Elle est une d\u00e9fenseure de la sant\u00e9 mentale dans le monde et des droits de la personne avec une exp\u00e9rience v\u00e9cue de la schizophr\u00e9nie. Elle a publi\u00e9 des articles au niveau international sur des questions li\u00e9es \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 mentale et aux droits de la personne, \u00e0 la stigmatisation et aux besoins des personnes atteintes de maladie mentale dans les pays \u00e0 revenu faible ou interm\u00e9diaire. Elle a co-pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 la Commission du Lancet sur l\u2019\u00e9limination de la stigmatisation et de la discrimination en sant\u00e9 mentale et a si\u00e9g\u00e9 au sein d\u2019autres commissions du Lancet li\u00e9es \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 mentale. Mme Sunkel a fourni une aide technique \u00e0 la production de politiques, de rapports et de documents nationaux et internationaux sur la sant\u00e9 mentale.
